SUNJ ENERGY (LUOYANG) CO., LTD. was established in 2017 in Luoyang, China, with a total investment of ¥0.3 billion and a production base covering 33,300m². The company is dedicated to the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of lithium primary batteries and composite capacitors.

SUNJ’s technical team consists of leading domestic experts in lithium primary battery research. The company has established the Luoyang Lithium Primary Battery Standardization Module Enterprise R&D Center, along with four specialized R&D centers focusing on Li-SOCl₂, Li-MnO₂, Li-SO₂ batteries, and composite capacitors. SUNJ has also built a comprehensive battery testing center, covering performance, physical and chemical, environmental, and safety laboratories. The facilities are capable of conducting a full range of tests, including shock, free fall, temperature cycling, forced discharge, short circuit, vibration, crush, and impact tests across the entire battery lifecycle. In addition, SUNJ maintains strategic partnerships with multiple research institutes and universities.

The company has obtained ISO9001:2015, Environmental Management System, and Occupational Health & Safety Management System certifications, and has been recognized as a High-Tech Enterprise (HNTE) with over 40 independent intellectual property rights. Its products have passed CE, RoHS, UN38.3, and Explosion Protection certifications, ensuring compliance with international standards.
